Turmeric Latte(Golden Milk Recipe)

  1. 1 cup milk
  2. 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (to taste)
  3. 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  4. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
  5. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  6. 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  7. 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  8. Pinch of ground black pepper (optional)
  9. 1 tablespoon melted ghee (optional)


  1. Add the milk to a small pot along with the honey or maple syrup, ground turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper, and melted ghee, if using.
  2. Whisk all the ingredients together while bringing to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and continue simmering and whisking for 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture begins to reduce a bit and the spices incorporate into the milk.
  4. Pour into a mug and sprinkle with additional ground cinnamon if desired.
