Japanese Pork-Fried Rice

Ingredient

  1. 2 teaspoons vegetable oil (divided)
  2. 2 eggs (beaten)
  3. 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
  4. 1/4 cup carrot (chopped)
  5. 1/4 cup green pepper (chopped)
  6. 1/3 cup ham (or pork, diced)
  7. 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  8. 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
  9. 2 cups Japanese rice (steamed)
  10. 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instruction

  1. Gather the ingredients.
  2. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a wok or a large skillet on high heat.
  3. Scramble eggs very quickly in wok.  
  4. Stop heat and transfer eggs from wok to plate.
  5. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in wok on high heat. Sauté vegetables and ham until softened.  
  6. Sprinkle garlic salt and chicken bouillon powder.
  7. Add rice and stir-fry well.
  8. Add the scrambled egg that was cooked earlier to the rice mixture and mix together.
  9. Turn the heat down to low, pour soy sauce and stir quickly.
  10. Remove from heat, put into a bowl, and serve.
  11. Enjoy!
